Critical Care Services:
Inpatient: 24/7 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Coverage and Critical Care consultations
About Critical Care Physicians:
A critical care physician, also known as an Intensivist, is specially trained to care for critically
ill patients who may require organ support, life support or intensive monitoring. These physicians are board certified in a medical specialty such as internal medicine, surgery or anesthesiology and pursue subspecialty board certification in critical care. Our intensivists provide exceptional patient care through a multidisciplinary team approach that includes critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, nutrition specialists and social workers. This coordinated team approach, led by the intensivist, is designed to provide our patients with the highest level of care.
