Critical Care
Critical Care Medicine is a subspecialty of medicine concerned with the care of the critically ill hospitalized patient. This commonly includes provision of organ support or life support systems. Management of critically ill patients is complex and requires intense and continuous monitoring. Common diagnoses encountered in the Intensive Care Unit include: Respiratory Failure, Septic Shock (severe life threatening infections), Traumatic Injuries, Kidney or Liver Failure, Heart Attack, Stroke, and complications of Cancer.

Pulmonary
Pulmonology is the study of the lungs and respiratory system. Pulmonologists diagnose and treat diseases such as Asthma, Bronchiectasis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema, Interstial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Sarcoidosis and Pulmonary Hypertension.

Sleep Medicine
Sleep medicine is a subspecialty that diagnoses sleep disturbances and disorders. This
includes people who are unable to sleep well or who are unable to stay awake during the day. Sleep specialists are able to detect and treat both common and rare sleep disorders. Common diagnoses include: Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Central Sleep Apnea,
Narcolepsy and Restless Leg Syndrome.
