The Director of Business Operations is a key leadership role within CCPSA’s administrative team. This leader is responsible for directing the operations, personnel and processes for business intelligence, data aggregation and analysis, financial and revenue cycle activities. The ideal candidate has strong experience in business intelligence, managerial finance and exposure to healthcare revenue cycle management. We are seeking a leader who is collaborative, innovative, committed to process improvement and has the passion to support strategic initiatives in partnership with physicians and other administrative leaders to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency in a team-based culture. The candidate will consistently display broad leadership competencies and have successfully implemented data management, KPIs, process and strategic improvement initiatives in prior professional settings.  They will contribute to and lead organizational changes, improvement projects and innovation efforts.  The Director of Business Operations will cultivate and support a strong, accountable team culture and collaborative environment centered on consistently delivering exceptional patient care and business sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the CCPSA culture of team collaboration, while identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance the shared values of the group
  • Lead business intelligence, data aggregation, analysis and presentation
  • Drive continuous process improvement, operational efficiency and innovation
  • Management and leadership of daily business operations and staff in finance and accounting
  • Provide leadership and oversight of internal revenue cycle management team with a focus on optimizing revenue cycle processes
  • Partner with physician leadership in tactical execution and implementation of strategic objectives
  • Support physician leadership with data analysis and business case development
  • Participate in the development and execution of business intelligence, finance and revenue cycle strategic planning
  • Direct and oversee internal financial systems and processes including financial reporting, dashboards, and key financial and operational performance metrics
  • Lead performance evaluations and team development for finance-related staff
  • Cultivate and manage key outside vendor relationships including banking, 401K, information technologies, hospital system and public accounting vendor activities
  • Support CCPSA’s physician leadership and governance teams in data analysis, insights and business case development and support
  • Closely partner with Physician and Administrative leaders to ensure overarching cultural, financial and strategic alignment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree in related fields preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial or executive leadership, with recent experience and emphasis in Healthcare business intelligence, finance, accounting and/or revenue cycle management
  • Experience with EPIC Resolute Professional Billing and QuickBooks preferred
  • Strong general business and analytical skills including Excel proficiency
  • Experience in healthcare reimbursement, billing, and commercial payer relationships
  • Proven leadership and demonstrated interpersonal collaboration capabilities with diverse teams
  • Superior communication skills to effectively and professionally communicate via email, reports, presentations, financial analyses, business correspondence and process materials

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $140,000 – $160,000
  • Benefits effective date-of-hire
