Dr. Waas was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado. He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado and completed his residency at Duke University Hospital. His pulmonary and critical care fellowship was then done at the University of Colorado Hospital. Dr. Waas is married with 2 children. He enjoys jogging, skiing, and spending time with his family.
